Aqua Vita Films is based in Bristol, UK, a city at the centre of the documentary film-making world.The Company was founded in 2004, by Bernard Walton , a former BBC series producer. with the BBC’s Natural History Unit. Since launch the Company has produced over 40 hours of documentary, current affairs and corporate content for a wide range of clients and broadcasters worldwide.
Bernard worked in the BBC’s famous Natural History Unit as a series producer developing a wide range of programmes filmed all over the world for strands such as Wildlife on One with Sir David Attenborough. Over the years his experience and expertise have taken Aqua Vita Films from strength to strength, selecting a team of talented and enthusiastic researchers and producers working together to produce insightful and cutting edge documentaries for major broadcasters.
In 2007 Simon Forrest, our Commercial Director, became a partner of Aqua Vita Films bringing yet more knowledge and experience to the table. Simon started his media career as a journalist and producer with Scottish Television, then News at Ten and Channel Four News. He later became a Senior Vice President of HIT Entertainment plc before joining Aqua Vita Films.
