ABOUT US

Aqua Vita Films is a multi-award winning independent television production company based in the UK. We specialise in producing high quality and innovative wildlife, science and adventure television documentaries for international broadcast.

We also produce corporate videos to help businesses inform, promote, and educate their clients and staff through a wide range of different styles and formats to suit your brand.

One recent production is a fascinating film about a leadership challenge among bull elephants in Namibia called "Elephant King" for Smithsonian Network (USA) and Terra Mater Studios (Austria). The story reveals the amazing new discoveries on bull elephant behaviour that Dr Caitlin O'Connell has made over the last 20 years. It won a CINE Eagle Award in 2013.

Our award-winning 2011 production "Miracle in the Marshes of Iraq" for the BBC, also called "Braving Iraq" for PBS Nature series in the USA, is an extraordinary story on the restoration of the marshes amidst a country still in turmoil. The documentary has won several major international awards.

In 2010, we created a 13-part series for Animal Planet International called "Gorilla School" that was aired in the UK. This is the heart wrenching story of 3 UK captive gorillas who are taught how to be wild so they can be released back in the wild. Narrated by Kevin Spacey.
